Entries were over 650 in the produce tent even though it had been a poor year for gardeners. the judges commented on the high standard. The children's entries were well supported and the non stop flowering begonia proved popular with over 30 entries.
Music was provided through the day by Simply Northumbrian who played a variety of folk music.
The Kelly Hendry School of Irish Dancing took to the stage and gained huge applause and praise throughout the day. These were followed by the talented Wilkinson School of Dance with Northumbrian Clog dancing and scottish dancing. again going down very well with the crowd.
The fun dog show was well supported with a lot of children taking part with heir dogs.
New for 2007 was the Cumberland Wrestling. This proved popular eventhough we clashed with the biggest event in the wrestling calendar Grasmere
